I like watching around dinner and taking a few minutes to relax before bed. You know how life goes though, it can be a real pleasure killer. Recently I've been helping my mom out, so I've been watching at random times. Sometimes pausing in the middle of an episode and returning hours later. I haven't watched anything in a few days because I feel like the method above wasn't allowing me to absorb anything. Things will get back to normal soon! Gah, I never watch television. Except for M*A*S*H, that's my favorite show. LOL! Ah, M*A*S*H that's one of my favourite shows as well. The whole cast are just such brilliant actors and really bring their characters to life. I haven't seen AoT yet and was planning to when it finally finished, so I could see the seasons back-to-back. I have Slam Dunk on hold to finish Sk8 the Infinity. Cute show but Adam, oof, what a creeper! Plan to watch Mashiro no Oto as a friend recommended it when hearing that I liked the Shamisen. Animedragon Posted April 4, 2022 Share Posted April 4, 2022 I've now finished re-watching Golden Time, its one of those series that is definitely better second, or third, time round as the story takes a while to get going. It was a very weird episode and all over the place. The scenes including the shamisen were breathtaking but then there's random fanservice and the characters act way too strange. It really does try to help its viewers understand how to be better people, and being there for friends and family is a perfect example. Spring Song, the one I'd been waiting to release in my region was amazing and the fights were on another level. So with that milestone out the way, I'm probably gonna try and finish up Samuari Champloo and get to the end of Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia, and also continue through Hunter x Hunter. Once Samuari and Babylonia are complete I'll likely look into getting a hold of Camalot films, second one comes out in May but no doubt only in Australia and America. Luckily we brits share the same region code with aussies for blueray. At least that's may game-plan going forward with Anime. The remake (2019 - 2022) however is one of my all time top 10 anime. In 40+ years of watching anime, I’ve never watched another series which could affect me emotionally as much as it did on a week to week basis during it’s run. Curious to see where it goes from here. Birdie Wing - first of all, if you’re looking for a realistic depiction of the sport & it’s technical nuances, keep looking As at least 2 of the characters have techniques that seem more like something from Demon Slayer. Also a bit of a Megalo Box or Sk8 the vibe to it. And I admit the attractive character designs without an egregious level of fanservice are a plus for me. Not sure if I”ll stick with it for the whole season, but seems like a fun/enjoyable way to spend a half hour each week. RPG Real Estate - not a fan of the moe-blob character designs & didn’t find it cute or funny. Might’ve worked better as a short run time series. One & done. Especially Aharen’s attempts to protect Raidou’s dignity/virtue dude was so traumatized when he realized his fly was down all day, he had to take a sick day And I can relate to Aharen’s reflex to eyedrops. I’m very adverse to anything getting in my eye. My optometrist has to pry my eyes open to put drops in & it’s absolute hell when a lash gets stuck. On the face of it a slice of life show about five girls who are members of a high school music club doesn't seem that interesting, but the way the various character's differing personalities interact with each other make the whole more than the sum of its parts. Add in the excellent animation and HTT's music, even if the lyrics are plain weird*, and you've got a series that's great fun to watch. The movie was good fun too, and as someone who spent most of their working life in London I recognised many of the places the girls visited. Their trip from the Ibis London City to the Ibis Earls Court was interesting, Aldgate East station is the nearest one to the Ibis London City, but as they ended up in Camden Town they seriously got the wrong train and went in the wrong direction, but if Yui was navigating that probably explains it. * Having said their lyrics were weird, I would like to point out that U&I and the groups final song for Azusa had great lyrics.
