tragedies! i had a wallet with the pink floyd girls on it for almost 12 years.  Finally retired it for a new one.. it made me so sad but it was literally held together by threads and the pink floyd girls had long since faded.  on a different tangent, I made my first youtube video today... but it's been stuck on 99% of it's upload for like an hour... anyone ever youtubed before?  what's the upload wait time usually like?

Dunno about YouTube, but I'm having similar problems on my work VPN.

I know my search has results, but they just aren't showing...

Something like that.  My personal net has been fine through all this.  It's just that when you have over 12,000 connecting to VPN on the same domain - things get a little weird.  No one is listening to guidance about the file systems either or web access.  People don't seem to get that you don't need to be on VPN to access mail, just a few sites require it.

I'll be honest, I don't know what that means 😅 but i realized my youtube video wouldn't upload because i needed to be verified! LOL, learning new things. Next step is learning how to edit videos!  You sound technologically savvy - any tips or suggestions for programs?

I'm not as tech savvy as others on here, but I steal a lot of business from our G6 at work.

As for programs, what kind of programs are you wondering about?  Video editing...I have no idea.  That's not my lane, unfortunately.

@gojirawr YouTube tutorials lolol, I used to edit with a software (hacked cause I'm cheap) you edit well offline wifi.. There's a lot out there though.

Also, no to quarantine speeds. I'll be so sad =/

@The History Kid I have shaw blue curve so 600mps download and 20mps upload. I stream my art and game play on twitch...well did when I had free time =_=;;

I get glitchy running so many probs without high-speed @-@

We don't have a lot of companies here that offer internet/phone services. Its a bit of a monopoly and can be pricey. I'd be so grumpy if my provider was slower because of covid xD thats so selfish of me...but....social distancing is annoying enough already lol

This quarantine  needs to end horrible not being able to go outside without worrying for your health hopefully this all ends soon and things go back to normal

Agreed with @The History Kid, its best if you just don't touch people, objects - or at least your face unless you wash hands. It's usually recommended to give about 2 meters between people you don't know (here in Canada) if you do plan on going out. So going for a jog, hike, walk...bike all that jazz is fine. Just nothing like going to playground or bar or interacting in tight spaces with multiple people where you have no control over.

Try not to coup yourself in your house, you'll go mental :)

I'll probably spend most of my day walking the nature trail by my house. But before I head out, a good breakfast is in order. Today I think I'll have some avocado toast, an egg white omelet with some everything bagel seasoning sprinkled on top, a few slices of turkey bacon, & a smoothie made with mango, pineapple, banana, & arugula.

ive been outside a lot myself lately too, working on the garden now that it's warmed up a bit. its so nice to get some sun for the first time in a long while, the bees are even out already.

we dont have many trails to walk on cuz we live near a highway and any side roads lead straight off into cornfields for miles and miles, and boy youre gonna be sorry if you try walking down one of thoes. its just corn, corn, corn. but there is one side road that leads into a wood and through some meadows outside of town that i take sometimes, but a bunch of rich people (you know, the kinds that retire out into the country in those fancy mcmansions with acres and acres of property, sometimes they keep like, the expensive show horses too.) and they always give me the DIRTIEST looks when they catch me out there, like they think im going to trespass on their property or something. its a public road! 🙄 maybe i should start making goofy faces at them. i find some weird stuff out there sometimes.

What you do is make prolonged eye contact with them until they become uncomfortable and ask what you want. Then you smile, wink, and walk backward until you disappear mysteriously into the cornfield.

Yes. A couple of our RNs in the ED volunteered to relocate all the way to NYC to help them so I've had to pick up extra duties and extra hours to keep up. Thankfully, husband has been working less hours, so he's able to watch the baby more. Things balance out, but I'm still exhausted. :(

Well I just wanna let you know that I appreciate what you do <3
