I’m really into the series visual style, especially it’s use of CGI, which I normally dislike. Also like the visual design for this weeks demon and the teeth gnashing was really creepy. I still have some issues with the narrative style though, especially the way it kept cutting into the action for something Tanjiro’s master said. A couple observations: I was surprised to see the number of phone/power lines in the city. I guess it does take the place in the Taisho era, but up to this point it seemed like earlier in history. Watched the first episode of Girl's Last Tour. Two little girl soldiers in a mini-tank exploring what appears to be a post-apocalyptic earth. Certainly not the usual set-up for a CGDCT SoL series

There’s also the issue that some members are in different countries, which can affect availability. I just thought any additional information could make things easier (hopefuly) I would think movies would be more convenient than entire series for most people since it’s less of a time commitment.

I’d seen it, but it’s been several years and while I remember general themes, I don’t remember specifics. So yeah, I don’t mind revisiting it. One suggestion: it might be useful to list where the movie is available (legally at least :P) to make it easier to determine if it’s something members have access to before they vote. From what I see, Summer Wars is available on Funimation but not CR, Netflix or Amazon.

Finally caught up. Episode 4 was pretty light as it focused on Kagura paying the Soma's a visit and her way of expressing "affection" for Kyo By contrast episode 5 started out pretty heavy I was just recently wondering about the series title, so I guess I must've forgot when it was explained in the earlier series. Anyway, even though I do remember there's some sad moments ahead, I'm glad that they're back to being a happy "family" again for now.

I actually do intend to watch at least a couple episodes to see what all the buzz is about & the animation is supposed to be amazing, but I'm skeptical I'll stay with it.

Yeah, her catch phrase was "I'll rip out your guts!" or something similar :lol: I remember starting that series but not any of the details. Pretty sure I never finished.

The director of that movie is known for really weird ****, though he also worked on Sailor Moon . I actually enjoyed Penguindrum, but couldn't get into Yurikuma Arashi. He also has a currently airing series called Sarazanmai that I haven't worked up the courage tor try yet :lol:

I'm finding it enjoyable enough though I doubt it will become one of my all time faves. A lot of people compare it to last season's Quintessential Quintuplets, but I actually like this one better because there are fewer girls and I couldn't buy into the whole "we're quintuplets so people can't tell us apart even when we don't look alike" . Besides, I have a thing for glasses girls

Yah, season 2 definitely brought the feels (the week between episodes 8 & 9 was absolute hell wondering Was also good getting a bit more insight into Reigen's mindset & seeing how he & Mob first met. Their relationship is definitely evolving, Mob isn't gullible enough to believe everything he says anymore, but still recognizes him as a friend and mentor. And of course Mob's influence has definitely made Dimple a better ... whatever he is . There definitely needs to be another season since he still hasn't confessed to Tsubomi yet and we know next to nothing about her. And oh yeah, the animation for episode 5 was mindblowing.
